A: I heard that fish oil is really good for high blood pressure but I’m not sure how much mg a day you can take, and yes celery is good for high blood pressure, also try putting some bananas, garlic, mango, grapes in your diet (foods high in potassium) , and I’m sure you heard of this before but try to avoid salty food, good luck!

Is it okay to take metformin and other meds such as synthroid and avalide at the same time?

When I took oral anti-diabetes drugs, I also took Synthroid with no problems. Be sure to get your bloodwork done regularly though… irregular thyroid levels can affect youe blood sugars as well.
Q: i have hypertension and take avalide which is part diuretic?
went for my yearly blood test and had no liquid for 15 hrs /with this combine to throw off my kidney functions lab blood work[i was told in error no/food or liquid after vmidnite i had test at 2pm have hypertension and take avalide which is part diuretic?
the problem was that the kidney function test where off mostily high /could i had been dehydrated and the diurectic effect the results

Yes, your avalide has a mild diuretic in it.
If your kidney test was significantly elevated, then it probably wasn’t from not eating/drinking that morning. It was more of a long term thing.
