Q: Chris Benoit being removed from WON hall of fame?
In 2003, Chris Benoit was inducted into the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON) Hall of Fame. As a result of Benoit’s double murder-suicide, his induction will undergo a recall election in 2008. Benoit will be removed from the Hall of Fame if 60 percent or more of the WON Hall of Fame voters elect to remove him. This is similar to the policies of the Baseball and Pro Football Halls of Fame. [99]
On August 30, 2007, Benoit was discovered to have been given illegal steriods not in compliance with WWE’s Talent Wellness program for another part of his tenure with the company in February 2006. Benoit received nandrolone and anastrozole. Eddie Guerrero and Brian Adams, were discovered to have been given steriods prior to their death during this investigation, as well as former WWE superstar Sylvain Grenier and ten current WWE superstars, which have been suspended in accordance with the WWE Talent Wellness program
look on Wikapedia man chris’s rep has been going down the drain now..
A: Thats fcked up. You cant deny that Benoit was a great wrestler.
and if it wasnt for what happened to benoit, the wwe wouldnt take the steroid problem seriously. many more could have died i n the future if it werent for what chris benoit did, unfortunatley. i know what he did was horrible and unforgivable but he was still a great wrestler.
Q: this is true information from pwmania.com what do u think of it?
While continuing their investigation into the alleged steroid distribution network in Florida that has implicated numerous professional athletes, Sports Illustrated’s official website posted a story today where they reported that they have documents that show a number of WWE wrestlers’ names being linked to the investigation. In addition to TNA star Kurt Angle, Sports Illustrated has linked WWE stars Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Adam “Edge” Copeland, Gregory Helms (though they refer to him as Shane Helms & ‘The Hurricane’ in the article), and the deceased Eddie Guerrero to steroids and HGH.
They are now reporting the following:
“According to the official documents we reviewed, (Arizona Dr. David) Wilbirt was billed for HCG and the steroid stanozolol that were sent to WWE star Eddie Guerrero in early 2005. (Guerrero died on Nov. 13, 2005, in a Minneapolis hotel room due to what a coroner later ruled as heart disease, complicated by an enlarged heart resulting from a history of anabolic steroid use.) Wilbirt also allegedly issued prescriptions for the steroids nandrolone and stanozolol to Oscar Gutierrez, whose stage name is Rey Mysterio. (Through the WWE, Gutierrez declined comment.)”
They also reported the following:
“In total, there were 11 professional wrestlers listed in the documents that we saw. Some of these wrestlers are working as independents; some are out of the business entirely; others are first-tier stars. Consider Randy Orton, who allegedly received eight prescriptions for six different drugs — stanozolol, nandrolone, anastrozole, Clomiphene citrate, oxandrolone and testosterone — between March 2004 and August 2004. (Through the WWE, Orton declined comment.) Interestingly, according to the documents, Orton’s prescriptions came from the same two doctors whose names appeared on the prescriptions in major league outfielder Gary Matthews Jr.’s file.”
They later wrote:
“According to the documents two prominent wrestlers, Adam Copeland, a.k.a. Edge, and Shane Helms, a.k.a. The Hurricane, received HGH. (Through the WWE, Copeland and Helms didn’t respond to a request for comment.) But virtually all the others allegedly received a wide variety of anabolic steroids. In each case these were supplied by Applied, the Mobile, Ala., compounding pharmacy that was raided last fall.”
When SI.com asked their reporters if WWE has a drug policy, the reporters, Luis Fernando Llosa and L. Jon Wertheim said, “Llosa/Wertheim: Gary Davis, a WWE spokesman, pointed us to a Talent Wellness Program instituted in February 2006. As to whether anabolic steroids and HGH are banned, Davis sent us an email quoting the policy: ‘The WWE policy prohibits the use of performance-enhancing drugs, as well as other prescription drugs which can be abused, if taken for other than a legitimate medical purpose pursuant to a valid prescription from a licensed and treating physician. For purposes of WWE’s policy, prescriptions obtained over the Internet and/or from suppliers of prescription drugs from the Internet are not considered to have been given for a legitimate medical purpose.’ Citing privacy issues, Davis declined to say whether WWE wrestlers have tested positive for banned substances since the policy was implemented.”
im suprised batisteroids dumb @ss aint in this
A: Edge did take steroids but admitted it on Canadian TV that he tried some to help his neck injury, so he’s not really likely to be on them, even though his stomach/abs have gotten much flabbier than before. I doubt mysterio is on them as for Orton maybe I’m not too sure. Helms seems to be fine too.
Q: want to see a list of steroid offenders in the WWE that have been announced….?
Here is how the current WWE talent roster stacks as it relates to publicly known Talent Wellness Program violations. There could very well be more current WWE wrestlers sitting on Wellness Policy strikes as a number of suspensions have fallen under the radar, but this is all that’s publicly known.
Raw
» Chavo Guerrero is reportedly sitting on two strikes. On August 30, 2007, he was suspended — reportedly for 60 days — for receiving pharmaceuticals not in compliance with WWE’s Talent Wellness Program. He received, among other drugs, somatropin, nandrolone and anastrozole between April 2005 and May 2006. His apparent prior suspension remains unclear.
» Drew Hankinson, a/k/a Festus, is sitting on one strike. In October or November 2006, while in developmental, he was quietly suspended for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s drug testing policy.
» Randy Orton is sitting on one strike. In August 2006, he was quietly suspended for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s drug testing policy — reportedly due to a drug test failure. Starting in September 2004 through February 2007, Orton received somatropin, nandrolone and stanozolol. In August 2007, company officials reasoned that Orton had already served his punishment due to his drug policy violation from the prior year — thus he was not suspended. However, Orton continued receiving pharmaceuticals through February 2007 — well past the date of his initial drug test failure.
» Darren Matthews, a/k/a William Regal, is sitting on two strikes. On August 30, 2007, he was suspended for 30 days for receiving pharmaceuticals not in compliance with WWE’s Talent Wellness Program. Between November 2004 and November 2006, he received stanozolol, somatropin, genotropin, and anastrozole. On May 20, 2008, he was suspended for 60 days for his second violation of the company’s drug testing policy.
SmackDown
» Charlie Haas is sitting on one strike. On August 30, 2007, he was suspended for 30 days for receiving pharmaceuticals not in compliance with WWE’s Talent Wellness Program. He was prescribed anastrozole, somatropin, stanozolol, nandrolone and chorionic gonadotropin between August 2006 and January 2007.
» Nick Nemeth, a/k/a Dolph Ziggler, is sitting on one strike. On October 10, 2008, Nemeth was suspended for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s drug resting policy.
» Adam Copeland, a/k/a Edge, is sitting on one strike. On August 30, 2007, he was suspended for 30 days for receiving pharmaceuticals not in compliance with WWE’s Talent Wellness Program. He received somatropin, genotropin (both HGH), and stanozolol between September 2004 and February 2007.
» Jeff Hardy is sitting on two strikes. In July 2007, he was quietly suspended for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s drug testing policy. On March 11, 2008, he was suspended for 60 days for his second violation of the company’s drug testing policy.
» James Yun, a/k/a Jimmy Wang Yang, is sitting on one strike. On June 9, 2008, Yun was suspended for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s drug testing policy.
» John Hennigan, a/k/a John Morrison, is sitting on one strike. On August 30, 2007, he was suspended for 30 days for receiving pharmaceuticals not in compliance with WWE’s Talent Wellness Program. Between June 2006 and February 2007 he was prescribed somatropin, anastrozole, testosterone, stanozolol and chorionic gonadotropin, a hormone produced naturally during pregnancy. (HCG is taken by anabolic steroid users to stimulate the production of testosterone, which is suppressed as a result of steroid use.)
» Shoichi Funaki, a/k/a Kung Fu Naki, is sitting on one strike. On August 30, 2007, he was suspended for 30 days for receiving pharmaceuticals not in compliance with WWE’s Talent Wellness Program. He received somatropin in March 2006.
ECW
» Harry Smith, a/k/a David Hart Smith, is sitting on one strike. On November 2, 2007, Smith was suspended for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s drug testing policy — reportedly due to a drug test failure while in developmental.
» Gregory Helms is sitting on one strike. On August 30, 2007, he was suspended for 30 days for receiving pharmaceuticals not in compliance with WWE’s Talent Wellness Program. Between November 2003 and February 2007, he received, among other drugs, testosterone, genotropin (HGH) and nandrolone.
Developmental
» Ryan Reeves, a/k/a Ryback, is sitting on one strike. In July 2006, while in developmental, he was quietly suspended for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s drug testing policy. WWE released Reeves on January 19, 2007, but re-signed him in the fall of 2008, making him the first talent with a Wellness Program strike to return to the company after being let go.
A: Someone forgot Batista?
Q: I found these pills in the trash and am wondering what will happen if I take them I have looked up what they R?
But I am just wanting to know how they will affect me.
The pill had squibb 690 on it and I found that to be Teslac an antiestrogen med it is 50 milligram and another antiestrogen one is anastrozole 1 milligram another one is citalopram it is an antidepressant 40 milligrams I already think I know what that will do …get me high. and what can a thyroid medication levothyroxine 50mcg dosage I think the 50 mcg means milligrams but I am unsure what could that do to me since i don’t have thyroid problems.
I am 23 years old 5 foot 9 between 230 and 263 lbs to give you the body weight ratios also will a antiestrogen mean testosterone will increase or if after a while my body will increase the estrogen and when I stop it will still be high for a while or what?
that is why i looked up what they were instead of just chugging them down i havent taken them yet i was just wondering if they are positive i’ll take if bad will FLUSH LIKE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO DO WITH OLD/TAINTED DRUGS!
A: None of these medications will “get you high” and they may make you feel quite bad. Citalopram or Celexa is an antidepressant not a sedative. It won’t do anything to you. The anti-estrogen pills are not a good idea, you do not want to screw up your sex hormone levels. It will not get you high, it will cause problems for you. Also do not take thyroid medicine if your thyroid works, don’t mess around with the thyroid hormone axis–very bad idea. These are very, very powerful medicines, they are not opiates, they are not pain relievers, they are not happy pills. These are hormonal medicines which you don’t need and should not take.
Note to all of you out there, don’t throw medicines in the trash unless you mix them with something undesirable like used cat litter. Also don’t throw them down the toilet, they are getting into our water supplies.
Q: randy orton question?
when did randy orton started using steroids? I found in wikipedia but I dont know when he used it.Does anybody know?
On March 19, 2007, Sports Illustrated posted an article on its website as part of its continuing series investigating a steroid and HGH ring used by a number of professional athletes in several sports. That article mentioned several current and former WWE wrestlers, including Orton who was alleged to have obtained clomiphene citrate, anastrozole and the steroids stanozolol, nandrolone, oxandrolone, and testosterone. WWE has since made a statement on this situation, claiming that the allegations preceded the Talent Wellness program WWE launched in February 2006.
A: late january of 07 wwe threatened to fire him.
Q: chris benoit?
On August 30, 2007, Benoit was discovered to have been given illegal steroids not in compliance with WWE’s Talent Wellness Program in February 2006. Benoit received nandrolone and anastrozole. Eddie Guerrero and Brian Adams were discovered to have been given steroids prior to their deaths during this investigation, as well as former WWE superstar Sylvain Grenier and eleven other WWE superstars, who were suspended in accordance with the WWE Talent Wellness program.[115][116]
After the double-murder suicide, former wrestler Chris Nowinski contacted Michael Benoit, father of Chris Benoit, suggesting that years of trauma to his son’s brain may have led to his actions. Tests were conducted on Benoit’s brain by Julian Bailes, the head of neurosurgery at West Virginia University, and results showed that “Benoit’s brain was so severely damaged it resembled the brain of an 85-year-old Alzheimer’s patient.” It was also shown to have an advanced form of dementia and was similar to the brains Benoit missed the weekend house shows, telling WWE officials that his wife and son were vomiting blood due to food poisoning (see below). When he failed to show up for the pay-per-view, viewers were informed that he was unable to compete due to a “family emergency,”
